Principal's Message

Dear Bronco Families,

I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Osteen Elementary!  The staff here at Osteen has shared with me the many community traditions and academic success that makes Osteen E.S. the home of Bronco Pride!  I look forward to learning and continuing these wonderful Bronco traditions.     

For the past 16 years, I have served Volusia County Schools in several settings.  I was an assistant principal at Heritage M.S. and Deltona H.S., and the principal at Cypress Creek E.S. and Blue Lake E.S.  In addition, I have two daughters who attend Volusia County schools.  

As principal, my focus is providing your students a safe environment with high academic expectations and support.  Experience has taught me that student success is achieved through the combined effort of teachers and parents.  This relationship works through strong communications to ensure mutual understanding of expectations.  Also, I am committed to developing a learning environment dedicated to healthy social/emotional learning that creates a caring community
